Celebrities have their own accounts on all major social media. In order to gain the public’s likes, they will express their views on social media after major events. At the same time, they will also announce some of their own itineraries to satisfy fans’ curiosity about them. Yet few of these celebrity accounts on social media are managed by the celebrities themselves. They will hire a lot of people to handle the information on their social accounts exclusively for them. Even some of the insights and opinions about an event they post on their social accounts sometimes do not come from these celebrities themselves, but from the teams hired by these celebrities to carefully study the preferences of the public, and then specifically publish comments that meet the public’s expectations. Celebrities should have their own private accounts, but these private accounts are often not made public. They use an anonymous way to comment on social accounts and interact with their friends like ordinary people.

One of the benefits of being noticed by the public is that it allows us to make money. Many people post instructional videos or funny clips on social media, and they gradually attract more and more people’s attention. More people are willing to follow them. When they update, more viewers go to the videos they post. When the number of their followers reaches a certain size, businesses will find them, hoping that they can endorse ads for them, or insert their ads into these people’s videos. This is easy to understand. If the video posted by a blogger can be seen by many of his followers, then the inserted advertisement can be seen by many people. Maybe someone is really interested in the item, and the number of people buying the product will increase.

Many employees choose to block leaders when they blog about their private information or opinions. Or they don’t post important information on the social media accounts that leaders follow. They are worried that leaders will discriminate against them because of some of their practices after knowing their privacy. They are also worried that their different views from leaders will make leaders unhappy. Many people even use two social accounts. One is used at work. They used that account to post, and leaders asked them to forward information. Or post some flatter-led messages. But they use other social account to communicate with their friends or post their true opinions. There are benefits to doing so, however. Companies can quickly distribute messages to everyone via social media. Instead of having to send everyone a private email. This improves work efficiency.

It is difficult to make information on social media completely reliable. Many people have proposed the solution of the online real-name system. If each person corresponds to only one IP address, when fake news appears, the person can be found as soon as possible. And because of the online real-name system, people will also reduce the possibility of publishing false news. However, it is difficult to implement the network real-name system. People will feel that this behavior violates their privacy. And once personal information is leaked, netizens will receive many harassing calls.

Many storytellers choose to tell only those stories that have multiple sources of information. Media literacy includes identifying the importance and accuracy of information. This is important to ensure that we publish accurate information. Yet many people ignore media literacy. They feel that there are not as many people paying attention to them, so the impact will be minimal. Or they don’t realize they’re posting fake news. I decide to publish the information from many sources but correct it according to the comments.
